Default Need to vent

Need to vent! Pulled the Velocity out of storage last Friday. Rained all day Sunday. Spent the next three days compounding, polishing and waxing. Was going to launch today. Went to put the prop on and no prop nut or washers. Always take the prop off for winter storage and replace the nut and washer on the prop shaft. Somebody must have swiped them! I figured no problem, pick up new at a local marina...oh no, nothing local and nothing in Buffalo NY. So the boat sits in the street instead of on the lift.

Sorry about that, I always have several sets laying around in stock. I am a little coo coo about that.

Spare water pumps, fuel filters, water serperators, belts, oil filters etc. I hate to loose time waiting for parts.

$10 you got brain/hand disconnect and it’s nearby somewhere. I’m plagued with this disease, i know it so well I should have a PhD in it.

Look in your truck glove box or console.

Silly question, but have you looked at your trim tab?

Just don't ask me how I thought to check there....

I feel your pain. It gets really annoying having to order and wait a week for EVERYTHING boat/trailer related.
I thought I had mine ready to try out again after doing some work on it at my dad’s garage. Got it home and noticed I had a bent axle. Brand new tire…

Yup, famous place. I put outdrive lower and upper gear oil plugs , tools, etc, etc, on them. We are on dirt /gravel driveways and roads, so not many parts are put directly on the ground.
Note: i usually put prop nuts/locking tabs/etc right on top of prop itself when prop is taken off. Zoom in and you’ll see in each prop.

Maybe in the parts washer? I find stuff in there "I didn't want to lose" occasionally.
