BAD HTM SR 24
Congrats on the win! I think it's great you stood by what you believed and won. As long as you are in the right, I see no wrong with it.
I have spent the last two nights reading this thread w/ enthusiasm. Whew.
I am a little confused though. In your last post you gave a description of how they have to properly test a boat on your lake. You said that the officer had to board the boat and hold the meter 4' from the back of the boat and 4' from the water. How is that humanly possible??? Are these officers ex NBA players w/ 6' arms? I don't see how they can be in the boat and have the meter 4' back and 4' off the water.
Did I miss something?
Pease explain?

Thats a good questioun BUCK.Iasked the same question to the head honcho and his reply is as follows. The officer has to stand on your swim platform and lean out with arm extended to get a accurate reading. They cant pull their patrol boat up behind you and do the test because your exhaust with bounce off of their boat and not give a accurate read.Ialso asked about getting the officer to take off his/her shoes before boarding my boat.i dont wear shoes in my boat and neither does anyone else.He said i could ask politely if the officer would remove their shoes but it was up to the officer, which i think is bull****.You can bet i will be putting a small tape measure in my glove box,so i can make sure he is 4ft from the transom of the boat when doing idle test, and only hope for a good size wave or a nice transom splash when he is on my swim platform

BAD HTM SR 24,
K, sounds good to me. Kinda funny really. But does make sense, some what.
I'd hate to have to put up w/ the stuff that you do where you boat.

I've seen boats from up north that run Exhaust tips that come out then angle down to the water, they said it helps make it more quiet at an idle but does't hurt the speed.
