Poodle???
 

Being relativle new to this site I have often wondered who termed the name "POODLE"?

What does it mean??
Is there a king poodle?
Is there a queen poodle?
Is there a prince poodle?
Is there a master poodle?

Once designated as a poodle.. can you ever git rid of this tag??

Just curious..

Marc - The "poodle" reference was started in our club (SCOPE) about six years ago by one of our members. He is a dog vet. One day he heard another member complaining about the weather, the conditions, etc. and he commented that the member was acting like a "poodle." That day was the beginning of the end. From that moment on anytime a member did anything stupid, comlained, made excuses for not being able to go boating, etc. - they were referred to as poodles. Then the tag names started appearing like KING poodle or EMPEROR poodle! I have my own version that I call my best buddy DEVILMAN. He is a "DAP." DAP stands for DUMB ASS POODLE! Poodle has also been used with the more common tag name like you fu***ing poodle. That is how it came to be and every new member in SCOPE is a POODLE until they prove otherwise. Believe me - every one of us has been a poodle and has deserved the name many times over!!:puppy:

Well Jeff you need a little correction, The term Poodle was indeed coined by one of our members in 1994-5, He is not a dog vet, but a salesman. The literal interpretation of "Poodle" is NO WIMPS, NO WHINNING, LIFE AT FULL THROTTLE!
