Tyler builds a nice motor but has to be the worst business man we have ever delt with. I wouldn't deal with him again unless I got a solid "done" date in writing.

This is the first I have ever heard of anyone having any type of problem with Tyler Crockett.
Tyler Crockett has built numerous race motors, (including mine) and has a buttload of national and world champions winning with his motors for a lot of years. They are also famous for building some huge cubic inch and high Horsepower recreational motors running all over the nation..
It was an easy choice for me, and I live in Kansas.

Tyler also writes for HOT BOAT, and has a very good reputation with everyone we have spoken with.

Tyler is indeed a one of the best, & well known......

Another option is MiLennyum Marine in Harrison Township. Talk to Lenny, he is a good guy who also is reasonably priced, & he stands behind his work. The number there is:

586-468-7361.

The location is ast crocker & Jefferson.

Oh yeah, He's pretty close to you, & you've most likely seen his boat. It's a 31 Larry Smith Scarab (flagboat with US-1) on the side.

C'mon Chuck, no reference to Lenny ?

Yeah Chuck, where's the plug for Lenny. Lenny is currently putting together a set of 502's for my Sunsation, comes highly recommended by Chuck. He is in the Freedom Marine building.

Boy You guys are late (TMAGER,RJ)
Talked to Steve way back about this subject (by email)and refered Lenny.

As far as the Tyler thing. He is reputable and a good guy to talk to and I would have a motor done there but I would hesitate to take anything there at the moment. I'm not trying to tarnish his rep but I've heard there are some issues over there at the moment. Hopefully everything will work out.
