Cig has also discontinued all support to thier racing teams. That's why you don't see Cigs racing.

That's wierd. I just go my Jan issue of Boating last night and it had a test of the 30' Mystique with 575's... Haven't read the whole article yet, but looked like almost $300k and 100mph! I guess Boating still thinks they are making it.

Personally, I've always liked the 31' Bullet / Mystique. But not at the price they want for a 31' boat.

Mach1,

The 31' Bullett and 30' Mystique are entirely different boats. The later replaced the former about a year and a half ago.

Btw - If you stick 575's in anything, the price is going to be astronomical. I'm not saying a $175K base for a 30' is thrifty, but when you consider true length, you need to compare the Mystique to a much larger boat with built in swim platforms and beaks. From that perspective, it’s not too far out of range, imho.

The Bullets were made 8'6" so they could run in bumpy water. And they could, they just didn't have that much speed in the flat. cb

Yea CB.....It is a "Pig" on glass smooth water !!!! Feels like suction pulling it down.......You can trim to the moon and she
still won't break free.........But...............Thats NOT why I bought
a Cigarette for

Very interesting about the 8'6" beam......I didn't know it was
for rough water handling.....I kinda thought it would hurt rough
water performance ? NOT that i doubt YOU at all

Love what you guys are doing at Dragon !!!
