I had a double whammy this Christmas! Girlfriend came out from Vegas to meet my parents Christmas Eve. Then we drove back to Vegas at 3:00AM to meet hers Christmas day. You never get used to that look that the Fathers give you when you first meet them. The “Your doin my little Girl” Look!!! Flew back last night. I need a nap after this holiday!

Hey Wardey, If you are the one who Cooks all the time, then I agree.................. But if She cooks the majority then the Kitchen is for your benefit too......................
She got a pair of earrings............

Wardey 12-29-2002 09:20 AM

Nebulous - We both pretty much cook. We usualy have kinda a party house and when people are over it seems everyone stays in the kitchen area, so we built a nice kitchen. Yea, she got earings but I got laid, I think ? Then I put my slippers on!!!:D :D :D Wardey

29 OUTLAW 12-29-2002 03:30 PM

I spent $98 on a Christmas present for Mrs Outlaw (DVD Player).

I spent $1650 on a Christmas present for myself (Pair of Magnepan loudspeakers and a pair of Adcom GFA-565 mono amps to drive them).

I love Christmas!!

Bad Girl 12-29-2002 06:50 PM

Tom - Beautiful!!!!

We love our house and our boat and all funds go towards those two loves year round, including Christmas. Have spent 16 years convincing my husband that giving is year round and Christmas is for faith and for family. I think he finally got it this year. Spent Christmas by flying family in for visits, cost - priceless. Survey did not have a category for "priceless".

Bad Girl
Great I agree, the better half is getting close!

Centsless 12-30-2002 12:11 PM

We were SUPPOSED to have a $50 limit, decided to spoil the kids (5 of them) ... but that limit went out the window.

I think hubby's favorite gift from me was the personalized dock mat that is now gracing his side of the bed .... was told I have to leave it there till boating season again :p

seanclong 12-30-2002 01:06 PM

We have agreed on limits. Some years past it was like the Soviet/U.S. arms race in escalation. Now we limit ourselves to the $1000 to $1999 range per person. :D :D

dangerkitty2 12-30-2002 01:13 PM

Wardley: too much information

Nasty Habit: Boy, we learn more about you on this
"Forum" than spending 7 hours in a boat. Did
learn you're a dam* good boat driver, that was
close!!

Kitten: I know the Pantera was for Christmas,
Valentines Day, Easter, anniversary, and
Birthday too, BUT I caved, took her skiing
and she had a white, white Christmas.:D
Limit? No limit for my bride.

I Love Him very much too

Corn and asparagus? Sorry, those two have the unfortunate habit of reappearing later in the evening in less than romantic forms.

Wife said that for Christmas she wanted anything that involved diamonds and gold. So I bought her some White Diamonds Perfume and a bottle of Goldschlager. This was not one of my better ideas !

Bo didn't know
