..the last one I saw in person was an old gov't unit as well..still very cool to see...
..T2x explained on one of his post's that they're basically a 38 Cig split down the center, so that's why the look so similiar...

Fred, i think around 60 39s were made, approx 20 27s, and only several 24s.
These boats have a lot of character though they are not speed demons. the trick is finding the right setup. low weight diesles mated with arnesons made for a reliable boat.
