..the last one I saw in person was an old gov't unit as well..still very cool to see...

..T2x explained on one of his post's that they're basically a 38 Cig split down the center, so that's why the look so similiar...

Fred, i think around 60 39s were made, approx 20 27s, and only several 24s.

These boats have a lot of character though they are not speed demons. the trick is finding the right setup. low weight diesles mated with arnesons made for a reliable boat.

there is an 1988 39' express cat 35k. and an aluminum 1986 38' cougar cat 29k. in the boat trader (south florida). both unrigged on trailers. both listing had pictures. they've both been around a while .
