I have a 2002 Yukon XL 3/4 Ton with the 8100. They won't offer the diesel until 2004 or 2005. I love pulling with it. I have towed about 14,000lbs with it and was very impressed. I can only imagine how much nicer it would be to have dual wheels:D . The 8100 is not for those who are skeered of the petro stations:hothead: But I would recommend it to anyone !!

It does not compare to my "Real" towing truck:D :p ;)

I can give you something to start with. I have the 8100/M32 4spd Auto; in my Avalanche 2500 (same exact truck under the {:D ugly :D} skin as the Suburban 2500. I have towed my 7000+ lbs at 92-93mph on I-95 without any troubles. Whether you are getting the dually sub or not, definately go for airbags in the rear. This is the single best addition I have made to my truck.
