Dont worry about it. If you have the blue and white Cig it is a 2000 Non Step Pleasure cabin. Plenty of room for #6's and Tranny's. There is another boat at DSM with a simalar setup and he is getting some quality numbers when on the rare occasion that he runs the boat. As for Schools in session. I talked with the owners brother in law and he said that they will sell the boat for the right price. Very unfortunate. I think they would have stayed with the sport had they not had poor afterboating experiances. Mike and Paul have a great product. I have had the pleasure to sell a custom 37 and Outerlimits has been very accomadating to the client directly. It would be nice however to see them get a bit more involved in the service quality these boats recieve after delivery. OL has a lot of pull, if dealers are making customers loose interest not only in OL (I am not reffuring to any CURRANT owners of dealerships) but to loose interest in this sport as a whole is a black eye on the industry. Other than than that. One hell of a boat!

What types of problems are these individuals having?
Is it simply a matter of after-the-sale type of service or is there problems with the boats coming apart... etc... etc...???

The problems I know of are after the sale stuff. Actually "End of the sale stuff" on one. To my knowladge Mike was notified of the problems and may or may not have taken care of them. I think a builder would keep a close eye on there dealers. Espacially with a product like an Outerlimits (Again, I reiterate so there is no qustion of currant buisness practices. This sales maneger and owner are no longer selling OL)

38 top gun #6's and big power

Thanks IDRPSTF for your input. I never doubted the 38 would accept #6's and big power. The person that posted it made it sound like the hull wouldn't handle it. Am I wrong or aren't there quite a few 38 top guns non-stepped with #6's and big power?
You are right about the blue and white boat you and spoke at the Dana Point Marina. How is everything going?

can some one tell me how fast the wild child boat was when it was a race boat .The boat is listed as a 95 mph boat at national marine

I would think that is a pretty close number, they didn't add much weight from what I sean.

There are a few just in SoCal alone. Dman, BCC, another on the DSM lot belonging to a guy in Vegas (Sweetest straight hull Cig around) Try to get ahold of Ron (Dman) either here or on the SCOPEINFO site for Tech info on the setup of his boat. He has been doing this for awhile and built a very nice toy. Also call Dan at Team Archer Marine in Costa Mesa. He works on all of the big Power toys in the area and is very knowladgable in setting these boats up properly "The first time". If you need any names or numbers, give me a call. Do any of you know anything about the 98 47 at FastBoats.com Randy Sweers has it, says it's 140 hour's on boat With dial in time only on engine and drive's about (30 hour's) Trip MRD 700's XR drive's.I don't know to much about MRD motor's, how do they rank next to a KE motor. No gen, A/C or trailer. What's it worth? I also have a 2000 42 sonic with 500efi's for sale if anybody want's to help me get the OUTERLIMITS before spring.

MRD is a top shop in Long Island. They have powered many race boats over the years.

HAD MY 37OL (WILD THING) FOR 3 YEARS AND STILL CANT FIND ANY REPLACEMENT FOR IT, EXCEPT FOR ANOTHER OUTERLIMITS.THEIR JUST A GREAT HULL FOR SPEED & CANT BEET HOW THEY PUT THEM TOGETHER. RON BENDER
