What does "running just shy of 200 on any given day" really mean?

tachyon, it means given enough room free of boat traffic and water calm enough to push the boat, it will run in the high 190s.

1300's won't get you there (i.e. 200) - it takes more hp. 250 isn't worth talking about.

I am referring to this power in one of Steve1's boats and beleive me, he can do it!

What kind of boat are we talking about? A drag boat, hydro or cat? I must be missing something
