I just leave mine on. Standby mode when not in use. Ive been told (and will likely be told otherwisw momentarily) that its better to leave it run. No heating and cooling cycles. Worked for 3 years so far.

run the scan disc...I used to have this all the time. It will repair and quarantine bad cells.
It always cleaned it up...Timely but it was worth it because CJC never could fix it!!!!!

OH yeah...it was also the biginning of the end!
