How and When did you hear about OSO?

I was looking on wreck.boats (C'mon, I know a lot of you used to
) and someone posted about hanging here instead. After 2 or 3 days I never clicked on wreck.boats again. Addicted-OH YEAH I check it before and after work, during paperwork at night, and just before turning in.

searching for potential new boats google picked up the origonal HTML boats for sale page. I checked out the whole site and the first thread i poste don was a controversial one about that years NYC race (the first one I ever went to). I made my opinion known and the rest is history. I think i racked up about 30 posts my first OSO session.

It was two years ago today that I was surfing around some boating sites and found a link to this place.
My Boss has regreted it since. I spend more time here than doing my work.
God, I love this place.

The week I bought my boat; around May 5, 2001; I started storing my boat in Northern Virginia; and I met CheckmateF1/Eric, a Charter Member; who had the only other go-fast there at the storage place.
I am forever indebted to this guy, for 1st introducing me to this site; second, teaching me just about everything I know about powerboating; and third saving me a BUNCH of money over the past 2 years.
Unfortunately, Eric and Katy have sold their boat, and are moving to TX to start a 4-Wheeler, DirtBike, and PWC, Tuning and Performance Shop with family.
