If Jay left Sonic, Sonic will be wounded forever. I would not buy another Sonic without Jay. I'll have to look at Cigs. The new owner Richard Hewitt I don't think can even drive a boat!

Folks - before anyone goes and verbally shoots Richard Hewitt, think again.

If Richard has stepped up with $$$ to purchase the company and wants to make changes, that is his business.

They build a great boat and from what exposure I have had with Richard, he is a gentleman. He is also a very intelligent business man.

Many here enjoy boating as a hobby. Those of us that work in the industry understand that for marine companies to survive, they need to be run like businesses not like hobbies. The people in the companies must also possess a passion for success.

My Dad gave me some sound advice:

Even if you are the most important person in the company; and dropped dead it does not matter !!

They would simply step over you and continue, Business as usual!!

I have known that to be true all my Life except For only one instance and that was Mr Aronow.

Thats too bad, Jay was a big asset to SonicUSA, hopefully he will stay in the marine business somehow.

As for Frank......... well...... he didnt last very long there and he left "the place before off.perf." just before........nm......i am not trying to start anything but a lot of people in the ches. bay area just dont like him. I hope those two arent planning something together.
