ShipWrecked, I have seen that picture of that boat before but never see it coming down. Do you have a picture of that ? or know what happen to it when it did come down.

My early days.

The name of the boat in shipwrecked's picture is "The Mojo" It still cruises around newport beach. Geoerge C.Scott was on the boat when that pic was taken in nrthern CA. The captain said that the had to stay in the harbor and George paid him $1000 to head back to LA in the storm. The built up speed in a circle and then went for it. Bad timning. The first wave slowed them down. The secound knocked the wheelhouse back, and the third flooded the engines. Its amazing they didnt sink. The captain lost his cert and was fined more than the orig.$1000. The boat was refurbed and ran cruises in long beach and newport. One night while on charter it cought fire and everyone had to abandon ship. Again it was refurbed and now is chartered in newport beach. The freind of mine that is a captain and told me all of this says the boat is cursed. "Never get married on the MOJO" He said
