Shoes or not, I don't want anyone on my deck!!!
I have carpeted interior, no big deal with shoes as long as they are clean on the way in.

Re: Shoes on boat or not?
Loosen up with the shoes, jeezzzz. Clean non-marking soles on my boat, that's about it.
If anyone has been offshore in 5-6 footers you know you need shoes, or some knew feet when you get back. I always wear sneakers with light color soles and take them off when we hang out.
If you can't sit, walk, or hang out on what you have then why own it.

Wow Bad Girl, what made you dig up this thread?
I take off my shoes when I enter someones house, its only polite.
I like the feel of the sole under my feet when offshore (pun intended). And I've had my Sonic in 10' seas, I'm very comfortable without shoes. Boating with shoes on doesn't feel right.
