My boat is simply a toy. I don't want to be stressing about shoes or no shoes on something I'm supposed to be relaxing on. Just get in and go. So shoes are fine with me.

However, if I had a showpiece like the Bertram it would be a different story.

Not to mention that a pair of tight shoes that do not slip of easily are a huge drowning hazard if you somehow end up in the water. Any of you ever tried swimming with some workboots on?

It doesn't matter to me.

I stopped reading at the end of page three....backed out...then came back to post this...

I am fortunate, statistically speaking, to have a boat.

Period.

It's not a discussion about how many, whom has the biggest or fastest, or which is the most expensive.....

I have what I have, it is mine, and it is a blessing for ME.

With that said, I have what I have due to the decisions I have made...and continue to make....and those include the people I choose to invite when I am on the water.

No soap box here......if a lady wants to go boating with stilettos, I have me to blame for asking someone that ignorant. Common sense does not reside with her...proof positive when she is holding her ankle, sitting in the grass with one of the spikes broken off in the lawn while dumb drunk twenty something's surround her with consolation and invitation to a friends ( or daddy's, or in extremely rare instances, their own) boat for a sin or swim.....

Ok....maybe a little soap box(y).....

Still.....I remain.....

Really? Shoes on a boat? Wtf ever. There is wayyyy too much wrong in the world for me to concerned about shoes. Wear em, don't....does not have any affect on my life. Wanna wear black rubber soles, fine. Wanna wear sneakers, boots or clogs.....whatever....

Your cleaning the mess. If you phukit up, you're paying. Either way, I ain't stressin.

HOWEVER......

No tampoonz, and no turdz. Jump phucker....
