my dad cut his the top half of his pinkie off in an electric planer (i think it was one of those) and they put it back on. Works fine now and only looks a little funky. And that was when he was a kid. So to think you'll be fine with modern technology.
hey it could have been worse remeber john bobbit! Hell they even sewwed that back on and it worked well enough for him to make a porno!
