A while ago, I talked to a company that offered very trick buttons which could be affixed to the steering wheel (or justabout anywhere else). They had a watch battery and tiny transmitters in them. No wires at all. Wiring happened in a relay box that was actuated via signals transmitted by the buttons (picture a bunch of pricey keyfobs ..) Through the relay box, these buttons could operate anything that needed a contact closure: Tabs, drive, whatever. Total cost for buttons & box approx $1000

Trouble is, I lost the name of the company. Would anyone know what I'm talking about?
