Because this was a totally new installation, I used the alignment tool. I'm using an extension box, so alignment wasn't an issue. I can say though that there is quite a bit of adjustment with the feet.

Here's Gil's solution on a spare bare block I use for trial installation.

THAT LOOKS HEAVY , the plastic blocks are much easier to work with.
