I've had them twice. I had them blasted, it is a miracle cure. Home by noon. After the first set, they said I had a 50% chance of developing more in 5 years. Well, extrapolate that out to ten years, and it hit 100%, sure enough ten years later, I had them again. Blasted the second time. I know it is from drinking too much soda, but I am addicted to it.
The best thing I found for the pain, (other than pills) is to lay in a tub with the water as hot as you can stand it.
Good luck bro.

Thanks for the support guys!
Cuda, I am 2 weeks shy from being exactly five years from my first one.
1st time was real scary cause I had no clue what was happening to me. I felt I was going to pass out, so I laid myself out on the floor and asked someone to get an ambulance. By the time they showed I was already standing and feeling fine. They admitted me and kept me overnight pumping water into me throughout the night. We never found it. They suspected I passed it before I arrived at the hospital.
This time around was so different. No overnight stay. They gave me a perscription and sent me on my way. I just made an appointment with a Dr, and they asked if they had taken x-rays and tests. I was like, Oh great... did they forget something?
I know I am not looking forward to them shooting that dye into me. That may have been worse than the stone. They come in the room with this thing the size if of a caulking gun... I thought maybe they had a leak somewhere...Boy was I wrong...........

The doctor from the 1st one said these things can be big and sharp. Then he showed a better view of just how narrow a path it has to travel...
