I was wondering if there was any ice on Lake Mi. and if so how far out does it extend....how about any of the other great lakes..."Got Ice"....Fred

Fred- I'll give you an accurate report (weather/visibility permitting) on Monday- we are taking the jet over to Battle Creek for a quick maintenance flight.

I cked it on tuesday and the ice was as far a you can see, (Lake Mi) looking from gary in area,

Last week I was up in Montreal no real snow as far as you could see, Quebec city had very little snow lake Michigan had no ice around Chicago or as far north as I could see. What does this say? low water this summer

Okay, so what's all this 7 and 9 tenths thin medium 4.35 and 7 1/2 tenths medium ice stuff all about?

What's it mean, can you walk on it? Snowmobile??

That would be cool, on a body of water that big.

I flew over it last Friday, it looked like the ice extended out 10 miles and was "loose". You could see the wave action beneath the ice.

Southern Lake Huron this past weekend mostly open. I was surprised to see a freighter heading south.
