Why would anyone in their right mind condone war? Because it is better than the alternative. Does anyone really believe that GWB is wanting war for just ****s and giggles? Strip away all the partisan rhetoric, and look at the facts. There is a maniac in possesion of weapons that can hurt our country and our allies. If you think it isn't going to happen, you better study history some more.

I agree. GW's message was well-formed and delivered in an easy-to-understand format. The Demi's will certainly harp on many micro-points, but I'm guessing that tomorrow's reports will be generally favorable.

(but since I find it difficult to predict the democratic response, I may be way off target).

Our President made a powerful case on why we may go to war and Feb 5th will be interesting when General Powell gives his case to the UN. It appears we will go to war unless Saddam turns a new leaf, which isn't going to happen. I do think that Saddam may try to stall the eventual war by gradually giving information or showing the inspectors more of what they want to see.

I think we will go to war with Iraq.I really think we should get more support from other nations.I could care less about the economy as long as my little one lives a long and happy life.

Well here in Norfolk VA, all the battle groups are leaving or have left. Most of the air wings are gone. Now their calling up reservists.

The scuttle is late Feb or early March. Thats when we'' pull the trigger.
