Jeff,

The new meds they have for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) have indeed been showing excellent results. My wife's sister had a different style of leukemia (acute, or AML) and she got to know several other leukemia patients while she was being treated. My wife got to know them, also. While wife's sister did not make it, the three girls with CML that took the new meds are still around. Wife checks in with them every so often. That's been 2 years.

I'm with Too Old & Candyman...spend some time with your Dad each & every day if possible..if not, at least talk to him on the phone. It will be a great comfort to him I am sure.
Fountain 38's Dad is also hospitalized with possible heart problems and I am pulling for him too. We hold both your Dad's in our prayers. God Bless.

HAVE FAITH AND KEEP YOUR CHIN UP WE HAVE HIM IN OUR PRAYERS AND GOD CAN DO ANYTHING,We know as Kim MY GIRLFRIEND/WIFE AT41 YEARS OLD HAS breast cancer and has now traveled to her back which is deteroiating four of her disc/she has been going thru chemo for a year and a half,we normally would not say anything about this as Kim is so strong she still goes to the shop everyday with me as she is in great pain all of the time and being self employed we have no insurance/we will pray for you and your father&family and keep up the strength /GOD CAN WORK WONDERS AND HE WILL FOR YOUR DAD. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.DARIN MURPHY
