I like Fountains and think they are fast boats. If you don't think the beak is good for about 3', that's your opinion...

The yardstick comment was only a joke guys. Lighten up a little.

No, I haven't owned a Fountain. I looked at some before I bought the Hustler. Not enough room. Again, that's my opinion please don't get your panties in a wod.
Just wait until time to sell it ,what a shock are you in for ,,,you'll wish you hag a bayliner and that room won't help,,and I owned a nice 388 ,,the 42 has you beat in speed and room ,,,,I think the 388 and 38 fountain don't have enough room in front I'm being easy ,calm ,just my 02 worth ,my last on this topic

Sutphen, good 'ole fashioned 26 degrees deadrise and outstanding strength, will probably hang with most if not all of the new tech. stuff.

Who out there has caught the biggest bass? Probably just as many STORIES as speed quotes. Who cares except look at the kilo records. 38 Fountain staggered Vortec 496's, 106 and change in both APBA and SBI, speeds set in 2002 and the SBI record was set in August in HOT weather. Come get some of that.
