rjcardinal,
Thanks! WOW! I feel so much better now knowing that I'm getting one over on the IRS. I can't wait to get my taxes filled out now so I can send them back some of my money.

Dont get me wrong I hate to pay too. I own my own contracting business and its rediculis the ammount of taxes I must pay being self employed. Your going to have to pay no matter what so you might as well pay as late as you can.

One year my accountant called me and said, "Great news your getting a $19K refund this year!" She expected me to be happy but I was pissed and reamed her good.

I instruct my accountant now to make sure I dont have a refund. It helps the cash flow all year long.

If you get a refund all that means is that you let the Government play with your money all year long for free!
hmmm....never looked at it like that but i sure feel better now haha. I wonder if they let you pay some at a time instead of paying it all at once........who makes that decision?

they will let you set up a payment plan BUT they will charge you a penalty and interest.

its cheaper to get a home equity loan to pay them with.
been there
