Default Havasu Thread

Well the thread below sure doesn't motivate me leave the friendly confines of LOTO to check out a sandbox...

Default tough call.....

Both awseome-

I have to give the nod to Havasu for 2 reasons.

Holidays are zoos at both
Spring break is a Havasu phenomenon
( I dont go boating on big weekends at any lakes anymore)

1. The boating season is dramatically longer. This means you have a wider range of time to boat relatively unmolested when not going out on major holidays.

2. Havasu doesn't just mean Havasu it means access to the river below which is the 14 mile Parker strip, and the water above all the way to Davis Dam which makes Lake Mojave, and along the way you have the Topock george which is awesome, Avi resort and casino, and Laughlin Nevada which is a cheaper version of Vegas with Gambling and ahemm.... various nighttime activities.

I like LOTO's landscape better though, being a transplant from Chicago it always has seemed weird to me to go boating in the dessert.

Tough call - Havasu by a nose.

Dave sorry for the bad luck at LOTO. You're always welcome on my boat. It has non skid from the swim platform to the anchor. Best of luck to a speedy recovery.
