Unhappy Thought you should know

I lost my Dad over the weekend to Leukemia . Never knew much about that type of Cancer but I do now. Unfortunately, it got into his lungs and that was all it took.

My Dad was only 66 years old, but did live a great life. He was fortunate enough to retire at the age of 60 and my Mom and him did more in that 6 years than most do in 20. They had a motorhome and loved to travel. They have been to just about every place in the USA.

As I said before, we are very fortunate to have a very close family and numerous friends including all you guys that I have gotten to know over the years. This will be a very trying week but we will get through it and continue on.

Life is short, so make sure you tell the ones you love that you love them.

Be safe

Jeff

My heart is with you Jeff, always remember the best from him. I lost mine in 1990 but he's always with me.

Very sorry to hear that, it seems that life is too short these days. Life every moment to its fullest.

I lost my Dad at 43 to cancer in his lungs. My advice to everyone is don't be a tough guy-- go get checked out every year as a preventative measure. If they had known sooner he would probably still be here.

My prayers go out to you and your family.

Dave
