1999 Promax 300???

The 300X and the 300 older Pro max have completely different powerheads. THe X is based on the Optimax 3 liter powerhead and has approximately 10% more power. The Promax is based on the older 3 liter block and runs almost 1000 RPM lower.
The good news.....the Promax lives longer (not so highly stressed) and behaves like a kitten around docks etc.
But, what do I know?........I'm obsolete.

I picked up a 1999 with 321 hours on it . More than half of those hours were 1000 RPM or less. 41 minutes at 5500 or more. No Overheats or Rev Limiter Hits👍
