The cheapest I've seen here on the Island is $ 2.65, 3.05 for diesel. My buddy put a 250 gal. oil burner tank on the side of his house, and has the oil guy top it off each month. Cost..$ 1.50 a gallon. Thats one way to keep from paying all those taxes. It's insane !!!

Diesel this morning was $3.39 near detroit metro airport 
friday I believe it was $3.45 . Paying $100+ a week to full up the pickup is great 
The one benefit I can see is that it makes running the boat seem a whole lot cheaper
