Hey Brian my dad runs a motorcycle dealership and he sells some of the small scooters like you want. Go to their web site and check it out. www.clintoncycles.com and see what he has right now. I will call him later and talk to him if you want. Let me know.

Sydwayz at my dad's shop he had one of thos small Aprillas. I rode it one day on a errand and it was diffrent but fun. I have also ridden one of those poket bikes before and let me tell that they are the most uncomfortable bikes on the planet.

Brain let me know if I can help you in anyway.

Honda cub (late 80's I think).
Vespa.
Yamaha makes some really cool scooters for the Canadian market. Our local Yam shop special orders them and sells them.

If you get a Go-ped, be sure to get the clutch or torque converter or whatever they call it so you can stop it without killing the motor.

I think the coolest pit scooter would be a totally restored Honda XR75

and a better investment than the stock market!

Biggus

A guy gave me one last year for free - 1974 xr75 gray tank 4 speed. It had been a "cellar" bike. Stored in the crawlspace of a house for 20 years.

I was excited until he brought it to me. Every chrome plated item was horribly pitted and rusty. The aluminum fins on the cylinder had white chalky leprosy. No sparkplug (meaning cylinder was rusty too). Made me sad. Planned to restore it but is just made me too sad to look at it.

Donated it to a cousin for the same price I paid (free).
By the way, the Penton is on ebay.

Back to the scooter issue, has anybody seen the rental scooters all over Panama City? They are kind of cool looking...
