The Chicago boating community has lost Ben Zajeski. Some of you may know him for the fastest Cigarette in Chicago, his red Top Gun "NEXT" and others may know him from his 80' Bahia he keeps in Ft. Lauderdale. Ben was killed in a car accident early Friday morning. For those who knew him he was a great friend, kind, considerate and a loving father to his little boy, Alec.

Some of his closest friends are Austin ("The Chief"), Frank ("Hollywood"), Fermin ("Joey O"), Mr. Cig's brother Pauly and the infamous Billy D. Robert Tanner has also asked that we express his condolences to all. Our thoughts and prayers are with his son, family as well as all of his boating buddies during this very sad time. He will be missed by all. I have several photos that I will try to post today.

My deepest condolences go out to all.

I remember having a great time with Ben at one of the South Shore Steak Fry's last year, it's a damn shame.
