Gulf Coast?

Are there many places for powerboaters to go on the west coast of Fla?Most people talk only about the east coast and the Keys.

The Florida Suncoast has tons of good boating over here. (Tampa Bay area). We got out last weekend for the first time.

Like the west coast better, The Keys to Pensacola pick a spot the white sugar sand and clear blue water speak for thereselves.
We have a place in Destin and have all intentions of being where I end up at!

I actually prefer the Gulf Coast.
There are tons of places and great cities/town!

Tapma/St. Pete/Clearwater
Sarasota
Ft. Myers
.
.
.
Miami/Keys eventually

I have heard that the Gulf Coast has a high salt content in the water. Tampa area being the highest. Is this true? Does it matter if it is?

Thumbs up Redneck Riveria

Go to Destin and you'll never go to Miami again. They have a sandbar with a floating bar and a lagoon where everybody pulls their boat up. BH
