Current temp here is 67 and going up to 86 today.

Looking like we are out of the woods as far as snow goes.... We have had snow, sleet and/or rain here every week for the last 8 weeks. Forecast for the next 10 days 50-60 degrees. Spring is just around the next bend.......

When I lived in Florida (Sarasota), the winter of 2000, it got pretty cold a couple of days. I'd say it was about 30 degrees or so. My roommate, who lived in Florida all his life, went out to start his car and the windows had frost on them. He didn't know what to do. I go out and sure enough FROST. So I take out my ice-scraper and start scraping my windows. He walks out with this dumbfounded look on his face. He says WHAT HECK IS THAT THING? I say AN ICE-SCRAPER. He comes over, checks it out, and asks to use it.

He had never seen one before.
