Question whens the earlyest date you drop the boat in

thread was lost so im restarting it

im thinking next weekend for the kc area. 3-15-03
what do you guys think? to risky?

Last year we did 4/15.

I'm going for it on 3/22 in KY... I would think about this w/e but I will be in New Orleans cheering on our beloved CATS !!

If I get the water (circulating) pump replaced this Friday I may just toss it in Saturday.
Usually the first weekend in April is the start of our season.

Last year, March 16th. This year, probably the first weekend in April. They're calling for some lows in the teens later this week. Once March arrives, I look at the 10 day forcast. As soon as I don't see any sub freezing temps it's time!

My cruiser's been in all winter. Almost started it on saturday (65 degrees). Glad I didnt this morning (20 degrees).
I'll be opened up and running in 2 weeks on the Lake. See you down there.

BTW, Backwater Jacks has a new owner. I heard they'll be opening very early this year. Probably in the next couple weeks.
