Anybody boat up around
the Apostle Islands, Bayfield,
Wasburn area ?

We were up there in 98' and 99',
nice area, not much going on up there,
just wondering if anything has changed

We did the Duluth thing too.
98' was fine 99', fog, big water,
not real fun.
The locals at Barkers Island
told us "we were crazy, people
up here wouldn't even do that !"

It appears there's about a
3 week window of decent weather
( right around end of june, middle of
july)

Is Tommy's burnt down cafe still
there?, that place was a trip

We reserved slips at the marina in
LaPointe in 99', locals didn't really
seem to care for our type of boats.

What dates, and how many of you are going
up there ?
