Ok I'm tired of hearing all the great performance gains and fuel mileage w/ the upgrade. What and where should I get the upgrade from? Also - bed liner - spray in liner or rubber mat for the bed? Any help would be appreciated- BH

Brian, You go first and if it works on your PSD i'll add it to mine. I've heard PSD's making 400 to 450 HP with the chip, 5" exhaust, new Intake. They also say the D's love nitrous !!! Wardey

i have a 2002 psd ... i bought the superchip programmer.... i like it because it has 2 programs one fast the other faster... but really one is a 60 hp program the other considered off road program is 80 hp ... 60 for towing and best fuel milage up to 5mpg increase the 80 is awesome though and takes maybe 10 mins to put either in your trucks computer... this is where i got mine from... good luck. don

Chromecat, BE VERY CAREFUL , WITH THAT SUPERCHIP PROGRAMMER !!! I used to sell them . Not anymore for diesels . In fact they discontinued them . Do you have an exhaust temp gauge ? I got 1500 degrees on a 2001 ford ! 1250 is red line ! Programmers are no good as they only add info that can be eaten away at by the trucks computer . They have nothing to back them up . You need an actual chip (for fords) to run the computer . ("4 bank chip") . Also the high setting on them only made around 50 hp ! Not as advertised ! As for 5 mpg !?!? THis truck lost 1 ! others had no increase .

Wardey, Don't go to 5" it will suck ! use 3 1/2" down pipe and 4" exhaust . 5" tip is fine ! Too big of pipe will loose all the torque .

Ambusher , Try the western diesel ram air . It works much better !

PWRBOATTOURS , The spray in linners look like **** in no time . They fade . Tons of my customers have them and they don't like them . granted , you can touch them up but you could also repaint the bed !


I like the rubber mat . NOTHING moves on it ! IF you want more protection , use a full bed liner and put the mat on top of it . JOE

Do it right, Banks System , Stinger Plus on my 2001 F350 I get an honest 16 mpg and a bit less towing. I tow a Formula 382 14,000 on the trailer.

It all must work together, Chip, Turbo exhaust snail, waste gate controller, exhauset system and tranny computer...

Do it right or don't do it.

Would you put a mega blower with 10 lbs boost on a stock HP500? Yea for about 30 minutes!

I just got some for 3406E & C-10 through C-16 cats Can add up to 250 hp above factory specs !! and for Cummins N-14 cellect and cellect plus can add up to 175hp above factory spec !!

I'll let you know what I find !
