For starters, when TooOld hears anyone say that his arrogance will lead him to take the focus off the real issues in a lustrum or two, his answer is to lay the foundation for some serious mischief. That's similar to taking a few drunken swings at a beehive: it just makes me want even more to find the common ground that enables others to hinder the power of prissy, pouty bureaucrats like him. Worse yet, he wants to provide financial support to backwards banana republics and their frightful dictators. My purpose is to contribute to the intellectual and spiritual health of the body politic. Most of the battles I fight along the way are exigencies, not long-range educational activities. Nevertheless, his intent is to prevent us from asking questions. TooOld doesn't want the details checked. He doesn't want anyone looking for any facts other than the official facts he presents to us. I wonder if this is because most of his "facts" are false.

Don't let yourself be persuaded by slatternly, execrable knuckle-draggers who secretly want to advocate his whinges amid a hue and cry as unforgiving as it is infernal. Rest assured, I have one itsy-bitsy problem with his half-measures. Videlicet, they create widespread hysteria. And that's saying nothing about how I hope he enjoys his new distinction as one of the most socially inept freeloaders who ever lived. If you don't believe me, see for yourself. Can you really blame me for suggesting that one of the most mind-numbing mysteries for those of us who don't like TooOld is trying to understand people who do? You know what I mean? His claims are so feral that if allowed to go unanswered, their final cost would be incalculable. He likes to imply that he is the best thing to come along since the invention of sliced bread. This is what his smear tactics amount to, although, of course, they're daubed over with the viscid slobber of odious drivel devised by his drones and mindlessly multiplied by the most cantankerous scamps you'll ever see.

It is as if we were safely on the bank of a raging river, enjoying a picnic with our friends and family, when a bunch of stuck-up derelicts came along and threw us into the river. Not only must we must struggle to avoid drowning in the raging torrent of TooOld-sponsored deconstructionism, but we must crawl out of the river before we can fight for what is right. That statement can be most easily defended, since it is not quantitative, but qualitative. In view of that, it is not surprising that if he is going to talk about higher standards, then he needs to live by those higher standards. What I had wanted for this letter was to write an analysis of Mr. TooOld's statements. Not an exhortation or a shrill denunciation, but an analysis. I hope I have succeeded at that.

(I love that thing)
