Default Smaller boat poker runs ?

I was wondering if there are any poker runs that smaller boats could run in. By smaller boats I mean 20' an under.

SLP,
this august will be our third annual poker run fund raiser by our company employees' boat club. we had 32 boats and 125 people last august and my goal is 50 boats this year. you are welcome to head across the state and join us. we ask the boat owners to charge $40 per seat on their boat, all participants get dinner and the captain gets a free dinner and a chance at our modest prize. all proceeds after paying the restaurant go to our chosen charity for that year.

the run is on lake mich, in Holland. the largest boat, 31 formula, smallest 17' open bow outboard, many tweeners.... and a lot of fun.

Hyper, I work at the same company Rambunctious does. ANYONE can come. We had at least 10 boats last August that were not from our company. Redstripe ran in our first one with his 19 Baja. Lot's of 20 something boats in our run. Everything from the mentioned outboard bow rider to cuddy cruisers to offshore boats like Formula's, Baja's, Saber's, Powerquest's, etc...

This is a WEEKNIGHT run, the route is fairly short, and a lot of fun.

SLP, you should come over for our run. You too Hyper. AND anyone else.

Mike

Waterfoul, can you send me the details or tell me where to get them. This sounds like a lot of fun.

Both the Tennessee River Rally on June 6 & 7th as well as the Lanier Harbor Marina Poker Run (10th Anniversary) Poker Run.com on August 8 & 9th have different classes of boats - and the run is not for speed, but for cards and clues - Lanier has a over $100,000 in prizes. Both are APRA sanctioned events and are stops on the 2003 Child SMILE America Tour

Default A smaller poker run sounds like fun!

Keep me posted as well. How many miles? I only hold 27 gallons and it sucks it down pretty quick!
