Dixie Chicks and their comments
 

I heard bit's and pieces of what the Dixie Chicks were saying about our President and the state of Texas. I chunked the CD's yesterday. I would like to hear more details on their comments. You'd think they'd be smart enought to atleast keep their opinions to themselves , considering their status as far as star entertainers. BH

"The trio performed a live show in London on Monday (March 10th) night, and Natalie Maines (news) told the crowd, "Just so you know, we're ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas."

How can I say this and be nice.
N. Maines is the fat gobber looking quatraped piece of wasted skin that howls like a squealing pig and probably smells like three week old fish down where where she generates a breadloaf a day.

Give me a F'n break! cant the celebrities kepp there months shut!we need to show some UNITY here people!John mellonhead has a anti-war song on his website too!

I respect everyone's right to state their opinions but there is a time and place where they should be told. Making negative comments about your president while at a public forum overseas is just not a good way to stand up for your country.

Well what comes out of your mouth first is usually your views on any subject. The CD's will stay in the trash and I say we support our President and not the Dixie Chicks. BH

And if you know anything about music you would know that Natalie can't be replaced. If she leave the Chick, she will still be the voice that will sell CD's.

True, Nat's voice can't be replaced, but they are history in Nashville. Talk about taking a dump on the people who made you who you are? They used to play at W's parties when he was governer.

Not sure what to say to this.......I guess you would rather support an ignorant musician than your country? If one of your relatives, God forbid, is killed at the mall by a car bomb, I think you might change your mind.

As for the Chicks, that really upsets me.....sure takes away from their song "Traveling Solider" I will never spend anymore money on them. For the life of my I can't understand why they risk so much to say something that is so ignorant.

I noticed that most of the people in the forum just joined this month........interesting.....

Also, there is a talk radio station in Boston that is asking people to break their DC's cd's in half and sending them to the station, where they will be collecting them forwarding all to the DC's management co. Mine are in the mail..............:mad: :mad:

KKBQ here in Houston just gets done bashing the DC & then what do they do? You guessed it? They played a DC song.

Other radio station here, KILT everytime after talking about the DC they have played the "Angy American", "Do you Remember" or the Lee Greenwood song.

So much for listing to KKBQ

Am I the only one who thinks they suck anyway? I'd gladly break up one their cd's if I actually owned one.

I say we send Ted Nugent over to the 'Chicks house/ Sheryl Crowes place and all of the jump on the band wagon liberal Hollywood types and let him talk politics with them. I'm sure he could give the 'Chicks a couple of music pointers also.

KKBQ in Houston just had results of poll & 78% of the people told the radio station to stop playing there music.

I left voice mails for two of the Chicks publicist type people. I checked out the site earlier, may have to head back over!!

You guys are beauties.......logging in under "dummy" HAHAHAHA......I'm going to check it out. :D :D
