Re: Nort's corner gas station.
I was amazed at diesel price yesterday. The station by my house had stayed at $2.35 for about 8 months since around last November, it didn't go up or down a bit. About two months ago, it went up to $2.45. Overnight Sunday night, it jumped to $2.65.
I feel inflation coming on. I'm raising my prices effective today. |

Didn't the truckers go on strike back in the 70's over fuel prices?

Re: Nort's corner gas station.
Yep.... fuel surcharge.... nice way to up rates... Here in Calisiliconia my neighbor is talking about adding a "workman's compensation surcharge" because his rates have gone up sevenfold in the last five years....

I personelly refused 3 load offers for one of my trucks just yesterday because it would of been in the negative side for revenue.
