Just figured I would post the gas station prices next to my office once a month to see the fluxuation.

Paid $ 1.74.99 yesterday. (87 proof):( :(

I paid $2.07 yesterday at a marina for 89, not that bad actually, but I wished I had put more in yesterday morning at Sam's Club for $1.81. I thought I had more in the tank than I did.

Prices for us came down the last week. We were at 2.01 gallon for Diesel and the same gas station last night was at 1.93 :D:D

Still stupid huge money but they are getting a lot of preasure from the aterney Genreal out hear to keep it in line.

I can't believe the price difference only a few miles can make around here. Speedway near my house was 1.5399 for 87 octane yesterday (I filled up). Just 6 miles away, but across town, Speedway was at 1.6999 for 87 octane. Seems odd to me.

$hiznit, on opposite sides of the SAME DAMN STREET here in the DC'burbs you will see two SAME EXACT NAME stations (Exxon and Exxon is the example I am thinking about in downtown Fairfax) with a nickel difference.

At least it went down this week. :)

I'm just loving the gas prices out here....It cost me $58 to fill up my truck this week.....The damn pump automatically shut off at $50 so I had to restart the pump to complete the fill up....:mad:

Whats the deal with that... the other day I went to fill up and the pump stopped at $35 and had to restart the pump too and add another $20.... the little man at the gas station told me that the pumps only go to $35.... This makes no sense!

It seems to me that theses credit card pumps are setup for cars with small tanks and not a SUV with a 42 gallon tank.

When using your credit card the pump does an authorization for a certain amount before it lets you start the pump. Once you reach that amount of the authorization ($35 or $50) it stops the pump because you are not authorized to spend more than that.

WOW !!!! Gas looks to be as cheap as it is here currently in Chicago.
