Yes it's a comodity and yes it is a free market but the actions of the oil companies are incontionable given the cause. What ever happend to moral responsability and ethics in the business comunity ... oh yes I forgot, it was abolished in the "stock price at all costs" executive bonus system.

Not sure about other states but fed/state taxes @ the pump here are 19%. Take the 19% & tax the profits from the oil companys!

As much as I dislike Bush and think he is an idiot and major PITA, the blame for the oil companies, and other corporations as well, running rampent goes to ALL of the government. They are all getting their campain $$ and forgetting who they are supposed to represent. It won't end until all private campain funding is prohibited. Add $50 to everyones fed tax bill and split it among all the contenders able to meet the ballet requirements (yes, even the jerks) and we would be a lot better off.

Just bought f""ckin DIESEL for $3.29 . . . . OMG.
Didn't fill 'er up, cause I'm * * * hoping * * * it'll drop a few. - yeah right.

Anybody wanna buy an offshore boat ? ? ? I got twin big-blocks, but she'll run just fine on one of em. . . . just don't try docking ( or getting on plane ).

prices have dropped around here about 30 cents or more in the last week.... was 3.09-3.19 for unleaded and now is 2.79 or less... diesel is 2.69 or less in most places...
