is this a brand-new boat? |
I like it like that!
Keep us informed on your progress. Thank you. |
Looks NICE! Is it me or does the X-dimension look low? It could be that this boat has alot of freeboard which makes it look low...

Hessdk,
I was on your boat this weekend. It is beautiful. My 36 came out of the mold today. Good luck |
|
Did the step the bottom out on the new 28's? Will they do twins still? Lookin good. My neighbor has a 28 Brave w/ Twin 650 Keith Eickerts, very fast 28. He was talkin about gettin a new one if they made any changes.
|
They will do a single or twin engine setup. As for the hull, this has one small step vs. the 36' which has two small steps. The boat is also built with no wood.
|
Nice looking 28'. Please post some more pics when it is finished....thanks
|
Cool, that step will be a big improvement. I betcha can't wait!
|
Nice looking boat! It looks real nice in white. Nice lines and proportion. It`s almost a shame to put graphics on it.

I almost bought a Apache 28 in the early 90's. The one I was looking at had 454 mags and would run well into the 70's. A very solid boat!!!! |

I took delivery in mid May, however have not used her much due to all of the rainy weekends we have had. She is now getting graphics, so hopefully when I get her back the weather will be more cooperative. Here is a picture before graphics.

Good luck, boat is beautiful Kitty |
Did you end up taking it to Maryland for the graphics??
Looks great - I was wondering what the status was. |
So what are the initial preformance numbers for this single with a new 525, or expectations?
Thanks, best of luck to you with her..... Bryan (with 2 foot/MPH disease) |
David,
Looks great. Let me know when you get it back with graphics. Can't wait to see her in person!!!! Tommy |
Where in VA are you?
|
Thanks for the compliments. I live outside of Richmond and boat on the James River. Lake "X" test results: Flat water, two adults, half tank fuel = 71 MPH on GPS.
