Apology To Emotiondriver
 

Doug has private messaged me and demanded an apology claiming that I have slandered him and that he has contacted a lawyer to SUE me so here goes. DOUG HAS NEVER CONTACTED ME ABOUT DOING GRAPHICS FOR HIS BOAT. SO I APOLIGIZE FOR SAYING THAT HE OWED ME MONEY. The story is that a couple of years ago when Doug was going to race Supercat Light his throttleman contacted me about doing graphics for the boat. So I did the numbers and American flags and sent the graphics to them and I was told they were applied to the boat and looked great. Months went by and I never recieved a check. At one point Chuck Anderson the throttleman called and asked why the check was never cashed, and I said I had never recieved it . So he said he would have his wife send another since she took care of the Emotion Racing check book. Two years later I still never recieved the payment (around 350 bucks). When I confronted Doug about this he doesn't think it is his responsabilty even though the graphics were on his boat. So be it, I don't need to be SUED over $350 bucks. Again DOUG "emotiondriver" I APOLIGIZE !!!!for "slandering" you on the OSO board and in PMs.

If that is what happened, hell if I would apoligize.

I would let the dirt bag sue, and beat him up in court. He would have wished he had just paid up like a gentlemen should.

But that is just my opinion.

I firmly believe you have been paid. It took you a year to contact me on the matter.

First off Chuck, said we wanted to buy decals for the boat I said we are not even ready to run and let's worry about it later. He said to me I'll take care of everything, don't worry paid for.

Then a about a year later you start slamming me on OSO.

I called Chuck he said he's done several contracts with you on other boats and said your wrong it's paid. He also stated that he tried to pay by credit card and you could not accept because you were not set up to do so at the time.

In reference of your post of Chucks wife handling the racing account YOU made that up. OR where lied too.

Chuck worked in a boat yard as a subcontractor, and stated to me that he had a check sent out to you from Hamilton Harbor in Pasadena MD and it was deducted from his weekly settlement.

Now, you need to give me dates on when the decals were ordered and I'm going to go to the Marina and get a copy of canceled check. Should I post here or should I PM you with this, as it will have bank info?

Now I hope THRILLER will chime in, as that is Chuck Anderson.

I know doug and you would be hard pressed to convince me he dicked you out of 350. have you tried TALKING to him like a man and get it resolved?? Pretty simple.....looks like the throttleman "Chuck Anderson" is the one that owes the money. It is then his responsibility to collect from the guy who he gave them to or who's boat they are on. :)

Unless of course they are a business and the BUSINESS ordered the stickers for the business boat, then that is a different story. Unless of course the guy who ordered them did not have authorization to order them....:)

I own the boat and NEVER gave consent to order decal's.

as entertaining as this is, you guys really should try and resolve it offline...it's a small world, you'll probably run into each other at some point, so there should be no need for animosity.

If emotion didnt order them and didnt pay for them then take them off the boat and send them back. Ryan should collect from the guy he made the deal with. That was simple.

Hello, OSO board members, I am Chuck Anderson the infamous throttle man that ordered the decals from Ryan for Doug's boat. To set the story straight I ordered the decals ( 3 sets of numbers and 2 American flags) I tried to pay Ryan before the decals were even cut ! Ryan informed me that he was not set up to accept credit card, the bill was $ 250.00,The marina that I sub-contracted my service business to, issued a check and mailed it to Kinetic Animation. When the decals arrived I was shocked to find the wrong color , when I tried to contact Ryan he was out of town , Racing or lettering a boat or something when he returned he corrected the problem ( $60.00 in shipping later) . Ryan asked me was everything alright now and I replied everything looks great (I never said they were applied to the boat). In-fact the last time I saw them they were still in the tube they were shipped in! Two or three months passed and I was handed a note by the accountant asking me why hasn't Kinetic Animation cashed this check? Thats when I called Ryan and asked him what was up with the check? He said he would investigate and call me back, in the meantime I mailed another check. My wife has never handled any financial matters for Doug or Emotion Racing , My wife was not even my wife when all this transpired. The rest of the story is that the first check I sent was cashed the second , I canceled( another $35.00) I have not heard from Ryan except the last time this came up on this forum and I called him immediately, he apologized for posting my name and calling me bad pay,when I went back to look at the thread it was gone! Ryan just because you don't like or agree with Doug's opinion does'nt mean you have to talk SHJT about him or myself . I think you do excellent work, you might not be a good business man or use the best judgment when posting, but you're pretty good with vinyl. If I were you I would just let Doug sue you , because if you continue to run your mouth about me or any business that we may have done , I do not need a lawyer, I promise you I am going to take it out of your A$$.

Doug DEMANDED an apolgy on the board so thats what I gave. He asked me to tell the whole story so thats what I told. So I am sorry to any one I offended here by posting this. I don't want to get sued for anything much less $350 bucks. So Doug and Chuck I'm sorry for for any inconvience I caused you here and good luck in any of your future endevours. I'll leave it at that and won't ever bring this subject up again.

Please don't beat Ryan up until he finishes my stuff....:D

NOT COOL AT ALL! If in fact you are correct you should be happy with being right. Present your point if you choose to reply as you did and leave it at that or take it to court.
