OT HELP Sea Wall work

We used a cheapie guy on a retaining wall project in Illinoise. I can't really recommend him as he personally blew the schedual away and when he finally showed up, didn't place the piles correctly. He was cheap though!

just a note: you usually get what you pay for. there are some very bad marine contractors out there. i know most of the bigger companies and a few of the little guys. just feel comfortable with who you choose.

I talked to Cecil from king, he didn't know any body off hand but was going to check and get back with me today or wednesday. I'll let you know.
If the work can be done from land, can an excavating firm do it?

Yes, it can be done from land. I'm looking into hiring someone with a backhoe to do it. I really need about ten people with shovels. That way I wont have to cut the tie-backs.
