Question Hurricane Boat Covers

Anybody have an experience with them? I'm thinking about getting a full mooring cover, and they have one custom fit for a '33 Outlaw. The Sunbrella cover is $681.60, though iboats.com.

I had one on my last boat. They are good covers. I got the "Sharkskin" material. It is there mid-priced cover. The Sunbrella is more $$, I don't know if it is better than the sharkskin or not. That price sounds decent. I paid almost $400 for a '21 foot boat cover. It probably depends on who you order it through. I ordered mine through Overton's.

Go with the shark skin.

I have purchased two from coverquest.com

The first was a shark skin for a Baja 272. Very good quality and light weight which made it easy to use.

The second was a Sunbrella for the 36 Outlaw. This thing must weigh 100 pounds. You cannot even think about putting it on by yourself.

If I had to do it over, I would save the extra money and go with Shark Skin.

Also stay away from Black it you leave your boat out in the sun, "VERY HOT".
