so let me get this straight everyone seems to be in agreement go with the 500 EFI s or for how much $$$ more go with 525 EFI s ?

YES paint the boat white, get white seats and get the 525 ITS XR drives speed master lower's good prop's. Then next year put some color on it, it is a lot easyer to get the wife/girl to want to make it look better than to make it faster.

The setup I want for you should go low to mid 90's in that boat. 496's and B1's high 70's low 80's max.

I faced the same decision with our 37 Active Thunder. I would have gone with the 500s if I had the dough, instead went with the HOs.
Yeah, that rhymes :) I did upgrade to the Bravo XZ drives to be ready for upgrades later. There are a lot of upgrades coming out for the 496HO that will give you more power for less than the upgrade to the 500s. |
