I think Fountain makes a great boat, and does more R&D than anyone, his bottom is defenitaly proven. Whether you own custom, semi custom, or factory, there really is not that much difference, Fountains rigging, materials, stitching and amenenities are just as good as it gets, they just dont do certain custon aspects that you would get say from Nor-Tech, OL, A.T. just to mention a few, and for 70% for the market that is more than acceptable. Its whatever floats your boat, and I would be proud to own a Fountain, especially their 47 with triple 525's:D

Measured my boat the other day in anticipation of a shop I want to build....29Fever.....boat- tip to tip----29ft exactly......that includes the beak and the swim platform.......35 with the trailer.
Beak adds about a foot max.
Lastly,People talk about Reggie being arrogant, he states facts......He doesnt even go around chanting "world champion, world champion" and he's been "world champion" more times than all other manufacturs COMBINED.
