Lucy, is that your 41 posted above...the one that was all white? Not sure b/c that deck looks a little tall over the rub rail. Maybe it is just the angle. Either way, that design is fantastic.

I thought so. When it comes to the deck on a boat....flat is beautiful. I am on my second Cigarette, but I have loved Apache forever. The good news is that I just recently became part of the Apache family. I signed a deal on the 45 at Hawk Power this past weekend. It needs a little work and some TLC, but it is going to be great! I don't know what it is, but there is just something about the classic lines of Cigarette and Apache. There is just nothing comparable. Now I have a huge problem....which avatar do I use? Is it possible to remain loyal to both brands? Maybe I can combine the two into one! :D

Yeah his cell phone really sucks.

He'll be around all day tomorrow.

Do you have any better cabin pics?

When were the motors rebuilt last

PM me,

Fred

Hot Duck 04-07-2003 11:01 PM

Too Old : I should have never sold that 28 Pantera. I had the Top Gun then for a race boat and a Pantera for a pleasure boat. I sold the Pantera because I thought that it was silly to own two offshore boats and now look what has happened! The Top Gun shrunk to a Gladiator and the Pantera grew to an Apache! :D

BODYSHOT1 04-07-2003 11:12 PM

BodyShot1 : I think that we are going to run Bill's 39 Kryptonite in NJ this year. We really look forward to those events because they are so close to home and are a lot of fun with absolutely no pressure!!!

OK. You guys wanted pics of the boat, well here they are. These are a few of the ones I took this past weekend. We ran the boat on the Apalachicola River (I think that was the name, but I will not guarantee the spelling :) ) in Blountstown, FL. Special thanks to Todd and his crew at Hawk Power. They were great.

Zoomnfun 04-08-2003 08:36 AM

How great did that first ride feel, tell us more...

Hot Duck 04-08-2003 09:16 AM

As always, the first ride is the best! We are swapping the crash boxes for transmissions right now, so the next ride should actually be a little more enjoyable! It is unbelievable how well that Apache handles! Even on the flat, glass-like water on that river, it never showed any hint of chine walking, porpoising or sliding. It just solid runs! Granted, the boat needs some minor cosmetic work and the engines need a little general maintenance attention (engines being done now), but overall it is going to be a great boat and it has a lot of potential.

Hot Duck 04-08-2003 09:20 AM

Oh yea, by the way, the graphics are 100% vinyl. This makes it easy to get back to a blank canvas to work with. It will probably stay as is for the summer, but who knows what the coming winter will bring?!!?? :D ;)

Zoomnfun 04-08-2003 09:22 AM

Thanks, its nice to see that baby is in good hands.

All the best, Dean
