I knew a guy that was riding in the front of a PU truck (3 guys in front seat) they were following a gravel truck and the truck spun out a rock that was stuck between the rear tires (no flaps) and it went right through the window and struck the guy in the middle, killed him instantly .

Your very lucky that ice just broke the glass.

Many years ago a co-worker borrowed the company truck to move furniture. Driving home at about 60 mph he drove under an overpass the same time a snow plow crossed above. The plow was throwing wet snow off the side of the bridge. A large clump/pile of snow slammed into the trucks cab damn near tearing it off the body. The driver was injured by flying glass and the truck was totaled. He's lucky he wasn't killed.
